Yes, it's true, Issue #8, our REIMAGINATION issue is out and about. If you haven't yet read a copy, you may want to pick one up from one of the stands around Concordia: Alexandra has reformatted the paper, reframing the articles within a refreshing new format that is for this issue only. Jacob Bos' vivid shot of Concordia graces the cover, and Stephanie Mak's and Mellisa Thew's art and photography are also featured.
So, what can you expect from Issue #8?
*a message from the other spinny chair
*a nostalgia-evoking article on video games
*keys to reimagining junk
*Concert chior update
*review of Serafin's album "Love's Worst Crime"
*and more!
Speaking of music, Edmonton's own rock band, Zerbin will be playing at Concordia February 11 at 7pm, it's going to be epic! All proceeds will go towards Concordia's mission trip to the west coast over Reading Week. Great cause, great music, check it out!And don't forget, we are accepting entries for the poetry contest until February 28th: 200 words on any topic!
As always, we'd love to hear from you! Send your comments, art, ramblings to bw.concordia@gmail.com
